ActiveU is available in variety of grades and in powdered, granulated and pelleted forms.
It is ideal for several applications such as liquid and vapor phase removal of organic compounds.

ActiveU offers decolorization grade activated carbon specifically designed to efficiently purify and/or decolorize many aqueous and organic liquids. Decolorization grade is made from wood.
Our carbons can be used in the chemical and food process industries for the decolorization and purification of numerous aqueous and organic liquids. Some of these are the purification of glycols, soda ash and caustic liquors, sugar/sucrose solutions, pharmaceuticals, and plasticizers. Below are some selected applications:
• Drinking water - disinfection, mercury and heavy metal removal, adsorption of organic compounds
• Ground water and waste water treatment - removal of organic compounds, removal of biological as well as chemical oxygen, removal of trace organics
• Purification process in industries including agricultural, mining, electroplating, dry cleaning, food and beverages, etc., purification in steam, mercury removal from hydrocarbons, precious metal recovery and trace removal, purification of glycols, organic compounds, amines, etc.

Vapor phase applications 0
ActiveU designed for vapor phase filtration applications adsorb harmful gases, airborne dust, pollutants and odors. We offer wide range of activated carbons for vapor phase applications involving indoor air as well as industrial gases.
Specially developed chemically impregnated carbons such as with potassium iodide (KI) and potassium hydroxide (KOH) are also offered for difficult to remove contaminants.
Our vapor phase grade activated carbon is available for all gas phase applications including deodorization and filters for industrial air, chemical processing plants, exhaust fumes, smoking rooms, and public convenience areas like public lavatories.
Some typical uses of ActiveU carbon for vapor phase are:

EnterosorbU is a family of highly pure activated carbons optimized for biomedical applications. Carbon adsorbents have been used in biomedical application since 1550 BC. Activated carbon is biocompatible and "Generally Regarded As Safe (GRAS)" by the FDA in the USA. The advantage of EnterosorbU compared to this conventional activated carbon is that the properties of EnterosorbU can be tuned for specific application.
EnterosorbU has the capability of adsorbing difficult-to-remove toxins from the somach, blood and other biological fluids. EnterosorbU sorbents have various applications including hemofiltration, enterosorbent, wound healing bandages, drug overdose and poisoning treatment.
We are interested in collaborating with industrial and academic partners to explore medical applications for EnterosorbU. Enterosorbent grade EnterosorbU is available for supportive therapy in drug overdoses and poisonings. Treatment for acute accidental or intentional medication poisonings can be facilitated with EnterosorbU. The properties of EnterosorbU are optimized to adsorb a variety of compounds more effectively than commercial activated carbons. The compounds that can be readily adsorbed include acetominophonen - the most common cause of medication toxicity, commonly abused drugs including barbiturates, benzodiazepines, methamphetamine, heroin and cocaine, and pesticides/insecticides such as organophosphates and DDT (dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane).
EnterosorbU can also be used as a treatment for microbial food poisoning requiring the removal of exotoxins and mycotoxins as well as non-microbial food poisoning including seafood poisoning due to bioaccumulation of heavy metal from the water.
